I replied to this last month, but I think my stupid blog comment spam filter ate it. And I haven't been paying attention to anything in the last month!

I love seeing the wonderful things that everyone makes out of cardboard, my older cousins used to make some truly spectacular things with lights and sounds, back before those things were as easy as we have it now! So much fun.

Okay, I answered this last month, but my spam filter hates my comments. So irritating.

I really want to see your castle! We love gathering lots of large cardboard boxes for birthdays, one year we just put them out with some paint. I think we may have cut some doors in the sides, but it was very minimal and fun!

I do like Thomas very much, and yours looks great! If it can be fixed, Im sure your children would love to play with it until it beyond repair. Havent done anything of the sort for my child's birthday yet, we only had one so far and that was yesterday :D but I am pretty sure I would do that sort of things in the many years to come!
In the past I did build a house for my youngest brother out of a washing-machine cardboard - we spent hours decorating inside and outside with my sisters! It was great fun for us and he was delighted when he was allowed to finally play with it :)

I am impressed with your Thomas! (though I am very glad to be beyond that phase... I think the faces are creepy). I made a huge cardboard castle for my son's 4th birthday out of 3 refrigerator boxes. We collapsed it and re-built for at least three years after that before it finally was beyond repair. That was before my blogging days, I should post pictures of it though.
