What I did was find two rocks that were proportioned correctly for a matryoshka doll, and wrapped them up in wool and felted them.  And then I wrapped some more wool around them and felted them, and then some more wool and felted them.  Because I kept trying to make the doll rounder, but I&#8217;d started with pretty flat rocks. And then I felted it some more, trying to felt the edges of the cut, but that didn&#8217;t really work very well.  So I decided to whip stitch around the edge, which I really liked.  And then to finish it off I used the tail of the embroidery floss to sew on a little accent bead.<\/p>\n<p>Do you like it?
