I dyed these soft bamboo rayon socks in checks for my daughter. The green and yellow really bled into each other, but the lines between the other colors are relatively distinct. Someday perhaps I will understand that, if the dyes don’t kill me first. I hare found that when dye painting socks you have to paint them from both sides, even if it looks like the dye is bleeding through from the top to the bottom, and you also have to be a bit careful keeping them apart and flat while getting them into a plastic bag (to keep the dye wet for 24 hours).
